Ingredients
  

  • 12 ounces spaghetti
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 pound ground beef optional, for a meaty version
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and let it warm up while you prepare the dish.
  • Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Drain the spaghetti using a colander and set it aside.
  • If you’re adding ground beef, cook 1 pound in a skillet over medium heat until fully browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • In a large bowl, mix together 2 cups of marinara sauce, the cooked ground beef, 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper.
  • Add the cooked spaghetti into the sauce mixture and toss until fully coated. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish to prevent sticking. Pour the spaghetti mixture into the dish, spreading it evenly.
  • Sprinkle 2 cups of shredded mozzarella over the top. Add 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese evenly across the dish. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly. Let the spaghetti sit for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Refrigerate: Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
Reheat: Microwave individual servings for 1-2 minutes, or bake at 350°F for 10 minutes.
