Ingredients

  • ½ cup mayo
  • cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Combine Ingredients: In a medium mixing bowl, add the mayo, sour cream, lime juice, sriracha sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and salt.
  • Mix Until Smooth: Use a whisk or spoon to stir everything together until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency.
  • Taste & Adjust: Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning if needed. For more tang, add an extra squeeze of lime juice; for more heat, increase the sriracha or even add a dash of hot sauce.
  • Chill in the Fridge: Transfer the sauce to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to meld together beautifully. The longer it sits, the better it tastes!
  • Drizzle generously over your favorite tacos, especially those crispy potato ones, or use it as a dip for veggies, fries, or tortilla chips.

Notes

To store Spicy Potato Taco Sauce properly, transfer it to an airtight container and refrigerate immediately. The sauce will stay fresh for up to 5 days. Make sure the container is tightly sealed to prevent air exposure, which can affect its flavor and texture. Always give it a quick stir before using if separation occurs.
