Ingredients

  • 1 pound of Omaha Steaks ground beef
  • cup of sweet yellow onion minced
  • 1 clove of garlic minced
  • cup of Italian breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon of milk
  • 2 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • First things first, set your air fryer to 375 degrees F and let it preheat. This helps get that perfect crispy exterior we’re all aiming for. While it’s heating up, gather all your ingredients so everything’s ready to go.
  • In a large mixing bowl, gently combine the Omaha Steaks ground beef, minced onion, and garlic. Add in the Italian breadcrumbs, egg, milk, Parmesan cheese, and chopped parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything together with your hands, but be careful not to overwork the meat – that’s the secret to tender meatballs!
  • Use a spoon or a small cookie scoop (I prefer the scoop for uniform size) to portion out about 15 meatballs. Roll them gently between your palms to form nice round shapes. Don’t pack them too tight – keep them loose for the juiciest results.
  • Lightly spray your air fryer basket or tray with cooking spray. Place the meatballs in the basket, leaving a little space between each one so the hot air can circulate and brown them evenly.
  • Air fry those beauties at 375 degrees for about 12 minutes. The exact time might vary depending on your air fryer model, so I always recommend checking the internal temperature – you’re looking for 160 degrees F for beef meatballs.
  • Let the meatballs rest for just a minute or two after cooking. This helps the juices redistribute throughout the meat. Then serve them however you like – on a sub, with pasta, or just straight from the basket if you’re impatient like me!

Notes

Store any leftover meatballs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. To reheat, pop them back in the air fryer at 350°F for 2-3 minutes, or microwave on medium power with a damp paper towel over them to keep moisture in.
